1. The service

Ogrelo is a revision aid for lower-secondary school students (collège). Its mascot, Ogrelo, is the little ogre who talks to the student in the app. It reads homework and lessons on Pronote (read-only) and offers revision sheets, quizzes, exercises and explanations.

2. Who can use it

A student under 15 may only use Ogrelo with the consent of one of their parents or their legal guardian, given by ticking the boxes provided on the app's welcome screen, after reading what Ogrelo does. If no consent is given within 7 days, the account is deleted.

3. What Ogrelo does and does not do

• Ogrelo helps students understand and practise. It does not do the homework for the student: it gives hints and checks the work.
• The content is prepared with artificial intelligence and checked automatically, but may contain errors. If in doubt, the teacher's lesson takes precedence.
• Ogrelo replaces neither the teacher nor Pronote.

4. Proper use

The student agrees to use Ogrelo for revision, without trying to access another student's data or to misuse the service.

5. Availability

We do our best to keep Ogrelo available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation (in particular when Pronote is unavailable).

6. Personal data

See the privacy policy. The parent can delete the account and all its data at any time.

7. Subscription and price

• Free version: without a subscription, the student keeps the planner, homework and grades, the revision sheets, quizzes and flashcards already prepared, challenges on quizzes already prepared, and 1 brevet answer-sheet correction per week (Monday to Sunday). Everything that uses artificial intelligence or voice (chat with Ogrelo, new revision sheets and new quizzes, photo corrections, language exercises, study groups, the revision session prepared each night, Ogrelo's memory: the student's work analysed every night and a personalised plan) is part of “Ogrelo Complete”. In the free version, revision results are used for the basic features (statistics, spaced repetition, chapters to review based on quizzes).
• Price: €9.99 incl. VAT per month (including French VAT at 20%), for one student.
• Free trial: 7 days, once only per student. Nothing is charged during the trial; unless cancelled before it ends, the paid subscription starts automatically and the first month is charged on that day.
• Who subscribes: the subscription is taken out and paid for by the parent or legal guardian, never by the student. Before paying, they confirm by ticking a box that they are the parent or legal guardian; parental consent must already have been given for the account.
• Payment: by bank card, on the secure payment page of our payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.), opened from the app. Card details are entered on Stripe's page: Ogrelo never sees or stores them. There are no in-app purchases through an app store.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically every month, on the same day of the month as the original subscription date.
• No commitment: the parent can cancel at any time, in a few clicks, from “Me › My subscription › Manage my subscription” (a secure Stripe portal, where they can also change their card and find their invoices). During the trial, cancelling avoids any charge. After that, cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid; full access remains open until then, and the account then returns to the free version. No month already started is refunded, except in the event of withdrawal.
• Right of withdrawal: the parent has 14 days after subscribing to withdraw, without giving any reason, by writing to the contact address below. If they asked to start using Ogrelo before the end of this period, they are refunded in proportion to the days not used.
• Price changes: any change in price is announced by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. The parent can cancel before it applies; otherwise, the new price applies from the next renewal.
• Failed payment: if a payment fails, the parent is notified and Stripe automatically retries the payment. Full access remains open for 3 days; if the payment is not settled, the account switches to the free version until payment is made (nothing is erased: the data is kept in accordance with the privacy policy). If all retries fail, the subscription is cancelled.
• Account deletion: deleting the student's account immediately cancels their subscription.

8. Fair use

The subscription covers normal revision use, even intensive use. To keep the service fast and available to everyone:

• some features have a daily limit (for example the number of chat messages, photos sent or lessons imported);
• beyond very high use during the month, Ogrelo switches to light mode: faster and shorter answers, lower daily limits, and imports of lessons or marked work may be postponed to the next day.

Revision, revision sheets, quizzes and the chat always remain available. Limits return to normal the next day or the next month.
